Alison Crawford is the founder of Good Yarn Communications in Ottawa, where she helps clients achieve their goals with authenticity and integrity. Specializing in tactical and crisis communications, media relations, stakeholder outreach, media training and writing, Alison brings strategic awareness and discretion to every project.

For more than 20 years at CBC News, Alison’s investigative, political and human-interest reporting was recognized with awards for excellence. Post-journalism, she served the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada as senior strategic communications advisor. Prior to that, Alison was the Director of Communications and Public Affairs at the Royal Canadian Mint.
