NERVE STRATEGIC ENSEMBLE

Severn is a senior leadership coach for Nerve Strategic, specializing in public speaking, media training, and executive communication skills. An award-winning stage director, actor, and theatre creator, she has performed nationwide and was a company member at the Shaw and Stratford Festivals.  

In TV and Film, Severn’s highlights have included Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), Christmas Wedding Planner (Netflix), Conviction, Rookie Blue (ABC), Hannibal (NBC), Helix (Sony/SyFy) and The Mystery of Mazo De La Roche (NFB/Bravo). 

As a theatre director, her productions have been featured at the Blyth Festival, Soulpepper Theatre, Shakespeare in High Park, Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, National Arts Centre, and Shaw Festival. 

Severn received her training at the National Theatre School of Canada, Stratford’s Birmingham Conservatory, and holds an MFA in stage direction from York University in Collaboration with Canadian Stage. She is the Associate Artistic Director for Blyth Festival and a proud mother of two.
